The raised intersection has been completed. Thank you for your patience during construction and we hope you enjoy this new improvement.

June 17, 2014

On Wednesday, June 18 (weather permitting), crews will begin setting the bricks on the raised intersection at Tremont St and Gardner Rd. Starting at 3 pm on Wednesday, June 18, the intersection will be closed to all vehicular traffic to facilitate the brick work. Each end of Tremont St will function as a two-way dead end. Please see detour map on the reverse. Residents that live on Tremont St from Hampshire St to Gardner Rd will enter and exit via Hampshire St. Residents that live between Gardner Rd and Broadway will enter and exit via Broadway. Residents on Gardner Rd will need to enter and exit via Gardner Rd. Two-way signs and No Parking signs will be posted to assist drivers. Crews will reopen the intersection at the end of the work day on Thursday, June 19.

April 17, 2014

On Tuesday, April 22 (weather permitting), the City’s contractor, Marchese Construction, will begin construction of a raised intersection at Tremont St and Gardner Rd. Work hours will be 7 AM to 4 PM and we expect the work to take 3 weeks to complete.
